Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Bloom Commerce Research accesses, uses, stores, and shares information, including data obtained through Google APIs.

Who operates this service

Bloom Commerce Research is an internal research and automation service operated by Bloom Commerce for its current and future ecommerce stores. It is not offered as a public application for outside users.

Information we access

The service uses a Bloom-controlled service account to access Google Ads accounts that Bloom Commerce is authorized to use. It may retrieve keyword ideas, estimated search volume, competition, bid ranges, monthly historical metrics, account identifiers, and related research metadata. The service does not request access to personal Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendars, or consumer profile data.

How we use Google data

We use Google Ads data to perform keyword discovery, SEO research, product-opportunity analysis, market analysis, and advertising planning for Bloom Commerce stores. Google data is not used for unrelated purposes, sold, rented, or used to build advertising profiles for outside parties.

Storage and protection

Research results are stored on Bloom-controlled infrastructure and separated by store. Access credentials are stored separately from application code and are not included in public repositories. Access is limited to authorized Bloom Commerce operators and service processes. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information involved.

Sharing

We do not sell Google user data. We may use infrastructure and service providers solely to operate, secure, or maintain the service, subject to appropriate access controls. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the security and integrity of the service.

Retention and deletion

Keyword research results may be retained while useful for business analysis and historical comparison. Credentials and stored research can be removed when access is no longer required. Bloom Commerce operators can revoke the service account’s Google Ads access from the applicable Google Ads account at any time.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Bloom Commerce Research’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
